Development of a Moving-Least-Square-based Immersed Boundary Method for the simulation of viscous Compressible Flows

Abstract In this paper, a Moving-Least-Squares (MLS)-based immersed boundary method (IBM) for simulating viscous compressible flows is proposed. For method, the lattice Boltzmann flux solver (LBFS) used to solve flow field on Eulerian mesh and MLS-based IBM introduced in present paper implement condition. The discrete Lagrangian points are represent Solid boundaries. A second-order MLS interpolation numerical exchange between two grids of IBM. forced implicit condition adopted ensure that physical can be accurately satisfied. able achieve higher accuracy than traditional IBM, which use Delta function interpolation. Some validation tests proposed method. order approximation tested by using classical example past cylinder. Test NACA0012 airfoil at different Mach numbers, angles attack Reynolds numbers applied verified accuracy.
